Path of Exile Progression Gear Guide
If you’ve ever wondered how you can make your own gear in the popular ARPG, here’s everything you need to know.
If you have been looking for ways to deal with enemies knocking you around, and have noticed that you aren’t able to deal that much damage to them in return, then it might well not be your character level that is the issue. This is often a common misconception made by players, who believe that they might not be a high enough level, and that’s why they are receiving so much damage and not inflicting enough back on enemies. More often than not, you need to look into using your PoE currency and what PoE items you have in order to improve your gear. Making the adjustments also require you to rearrange your PoE Orbs to make the most out of them.
Using Vendor Recipes
So, if you are looking into improving your gear, then firstly you will want to check out some vendor recipes. You will need to know certain recipes to make the most out of PoE crafting. For example, you can get a Scroll Fragment, Transmutation Shard, and Alteration Shard by selling a white, blue, and identified magic item respectively. Armourer’s Scrap will also be useful, which can be acquired from selling armor items, as long as the combined quality is 40%. Finally, selling three PoE items that have the same base type will net you the PoE Orb of Alchemy.
Using these recipes can make a Scroll of Wisdom, which can help you identify items. You can then use your newly acquired Orb of Transmutation and Orb of Alteration to make magic items and reroll magic item mods respectively. The Orb of Alchemy is one of the more efficient PoE orbs, as it can turn a normal item into a rare item.
Crafting
One thing that all new and old Path of Exile players alike will have noticed is the sheer abundance of PoE items that you can end up collecting when making your way through the game. With that in mind, you should be as mindful as possible when it comes to what items you are picking up. The best method is to make sure that you are collecting those that are relevant to your build, and you should sell those that you won’t need. Those that you aren’t using can be sold using vendor recipes, and you should make sure that you do the same with armour.
