Strategy

When you begin the fight, you will want to attract the boss into the middle of the room. In terms of stacking your attacks, melee should be placed behind the boss, and ranged should be set for around 20–25 yards behind where your melee attacks are coming from. Another tip is to place a marker on both sides of the boss so you can give yourself an idea of where your safety corridor should be, which will be essential for the Images of Absolution where the Prophet creates an army of illusions. There is also the Shred Psyche to contend with, where the boss will attempt to rip at the mind of a random player, causing a psychic outburst. You need to avoid this damage where possible, so make sure that you have a drop point to make way for damage and give yourself time to evade the attack.

In the first phase of the battle, you may notice that only particular players are affected by Images of Absolution, so you need to make sure that you have enough bodies to be able to deal with them in your safety corridor. Crowd control is essential here, so using Mass Entanglement and Ring of Peace will come in handy. There is also Paralysis and Blind which can be useful for single targets.

If you are operating the melee role, then you will want to move to where the ranged stack point is in order to avoid Psychic Outburst, should you not be equipped with any damage reduction cooldown.

If you are using tanks and healers, then the tactics in the second phase will play an important role. Skitra will use Illusionary Projection, so get a tank to put down a world marker in front of them, meaning the other tank will be able to have eyes on the boss. To find the correct projection, you will need to make sure that you have a cut path as Image of Absolution will still be in play in this secondary phase too.
